Solidarity at the bargaining table

(Burnaby: October 15, 2009) Building solidarity was the message delivered by BCGEU president Darryl Walker when he and BCGEU Component 4 Treasurer Louise Hood took part in the recent community health bargaining conference of Hospital Employees' Union members. Walker says achieving fair contract settlements for community health and community social service workers are a top priority. BCGEU's bargaining conferences for close to 50,000 members who will be at the negotiating table in 2010 are set for the end of November.
