Oak Bay Lodge and Mount Tolmie Hospital – FOR SALE

The Vancouver Island Health Authority wants to sell Oak Bay Lodge and Mount Tolmie Hospital and have a replacement residential care facility built ‘somewhere in Greater Victoria’.

Privatizing these facilities creates uncertainty for everyone – seniors and their families, workers and the community. Selling properties to make up for funding shortfalls is short-sighted and not in the public’s interest.
